President Trump's trip to the Middle East this week does not include a stop in Israel, raising the question of whether there might be a growing divide between the two allies. Veteran New York Times foreign affairs Opinion columnist Thomas Friedman says the alliance is unsurprisingly frayed, given this Israeli government's approach to the war against Hamas. He joins Michel Martin to discuss his most recent op-ed on the topic.
